    1. I always try to vacuum up all the stray glitter before my husband gets home, he still catches me sometimes though :)

    2. My college-aged children have taught me a more scientific name for glitter--art herpes, once you've got it, you can't get rid of it.

    1. I think I only got banned from being a repeat offender, and I'm messy!

    2. Mine are not turning out very good. When I brush over glitter with a thin layer of silicone, alot of glitter is coming off and now you can 'see through' in some spots. Any suggestions?

    3. That's never happened to me before. A little bit of glitter comes up when I brush the second layer of silicone, but it's definitely not see through.
I would probably re-dip in the glitter and let it dry again. When you are pressing the marble into the glitter, is it squishing a little into the silicone? Maybe a thicker layer of silicone? I'm sorry you are having difficulties :(

    4. Can you you use modpoge(sp?) instead of silicone?

  3. E6000 has the nastiest, lasting smell. Is there a way to get rid of it?

    1. Silicone from the hardware store my have a milder odor. I have used it recently to seal around my sink and didn't notice any smell, but that doesn't necessarily mean it didn't smell. After painting and printmaking for so many years, I just don't notice anymore.

  4. I have 3 girls ages 7, 8 and 11. I can blame the glitter mess on them ;) Great tutorial! Thanks!

    1. I can't wait until my daughter is old enough to make craft projects with me, and she will probably get blamed for the messes too (sorry sweetie!)
